The Time Has Come!

It is upon us: the last week of school is next week. Only 2 tests - Calculus Monday and Paleontology Thursday - so it won't be too bad. I want to say I'm not worried and I'm just going to take it as it comes. But... I have the butterflies. Mostly because of Finals looming ahead the following week. They are the 15th-19th. Two of them are scheduled and two of them are anytime I feel like going to the testing center. But, the scheduled ones are such: 15th, 7-10am Calculus final; 15th, 11am-2pm Paleontology final. I'll have an hour to cram, but man that day is going to be hard. Chocolate will be necessary. So, the 16th-18th I'll study a lot and take my Chemistry and New Testament tests. (Never go to take a final on the last day -- the line is a few months long.) Now, I know this sounds dire, but I can pull this off. By finals I've usually figured out the way a teacher tests, so I better understand what to expect. And am thus prepared.
And no matter how much I succeed or fail, I get to see Johnny on the 20th. *heavenly chorus begins to sing mightily* And then we'll have 13 days together. *And the heavenly chorus breaks out in a funky dance* We keep planning a lot of things and then deciding not to plan anything. I'm pretty sure I've never been this excited. (This is even more exciting than beating down Ganon for the first time. Clarification: Zelda reference.) It's going to be friggin' awesome!!! Like, dragon proportions of awesome. (Any question on the range of dragon awesome-osity, see above.)
I'm ready! The last week of school may have tests and papers and assignments and reviews. And finals week might force me to sit through six hours of testing in one day and other such paltry attempts to squelch my chillinness (dat's right), but the day after finals end I am going to be the happiest I've been all year. Oh, and don't worry: I have indeed stocked up on my Japenese music for the occasion. (Everything's even happier with a little J-pop.) I'll keep you all up to date on everything that happens during this fabled last week of school: especially the geology details you probably don't want to know. ;)
