Personal Style =)

I've been realizing lately that I've started to really love fashion.  But, I mostly love vintage stuff.  Especially the 20s through the 60s.  I love that those fashion trends are coming back.  It's so cute.  Especially the way that stars like Zooey Deschanel implement them. :)
I found on IMDB that Hollywood is remaking the movie of The Great Gatsby, which has me very excited!  Also shows like Mad Men, Pan Am, and other fun retro shows have been bringing back some of the fun fashions from back in the day.  I love the big days of the silver screen and the glamor that Hollywood had back then.  I miss fedoras and top hats and polka dots and gloves and such. :)
One thing I love about fashion is that someone will have their own unique fashion and dress the way they like and when they become famous everyone else starts to follow the trend. :)  I myself don't care if I start trends, but I want to have my own style more now. ^_^

The 60's ROCK!!! Well, mostly. I go for the mod stuff sometimes (mostly with home decor though), or the hippie stuff, which really didn't take off until the 70's. You can keep the girly-girl stuff. I used to be a huge fan of the 40's in high school, but not so much now.

I don't know why it posted me as anonymous. That comment is written by the glorious and fashionable Naomi.

The 60's are awesome! Though I'm more Janis Joplin than Audrey Hepburn. I do like the mod look for home decor. I used to really be into the 40's, but not so much now. Too girly-girl for me. I'll let you handle that. ;)

Myes. I will handle the girliness. ;) The mod look is pretty cool. I enjoy the fashions from pretty much all the decades but the 20s-60s are just my favorites. =)

My mom has a collection of old hats, from her aunts, I think, and a couple dresses. They are pretty amazing, and when I wore one of the dresses back in college I felt very elegant. I don't think the 21st century fashions have that much elegance, which is too bad. But then again, I'm not a good judge because I have very little fashion sense these days! :)

Lol, Jennifer! My mom's clothes and hats from yore are the same way for me. :3
