First things first: Chef Geoffrey Zakarian has become the newest Iron Chef of America. =D Yay! I'm so excited for him! It will be fun to watch him in future battles in kitchen stadium. ^_^
In other news, the time for Christmas cartoons is here! :D I LOVE Christmas cartoons and am known to watch them all year long. =)
My most favorite is Mickey's Christmas Carol. It's always been the very soul of Christmas for me. I can quote the whole thing along with it (though I try to restrain myself around other people... xD ). My favorite part is when Scrooge tells his nephew (played by Donald Duck) that he'll be coming to Christmas dinner after all and Donald looks at his horse and says, "Well, I'll be doggone!" I used to laugh and laugh about that as a kid.
Next is How The Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon version). This is my favorite of the Grinch's expressions - when he gets a wonderful awful idea. ;) I love the songs and cute little Cindy Lou Who. :3 My favorite moment is when the Grinch gains the strength of 10 Grinches plus 2.
And, of course, there has to be Garfield. Every holiday needs some Garfield! I love when Garfield gives John Arbuckle's grandmother the old letters from her husband he'd found and she talks about the memories of her husband. :')
Obviously, A Charlie Brown Christmas, as discussed in my last post. I love this part with Snoopy eating his pile of bones and reading. It's just so cute! :3 Also, the music of Vince Guaraldi MAKES Christmas. There's nothing else that will make me feel the Christmas Spirit faster.
Also necessary is A Chipmunk Christmas. There's a really weird dream sequence involving elephants but the rest of the show is worth it. xD It's so cute when the three of them wake up Dave and make him get dressed and then steal his spot in the bed under the warm covers. >:] Heehee. My favorite is when Alvin is yelling, "Money! I need money!" in his sleep. Whenever I need money, I yell that out and then John says something like, "Okay, Alvin," and I smile toothily at him.
Goofy's The Art of Skiing is a must. "Skiing (pronounced skiing)..." xD The silliness of Goofy guarantees at least a giggle. Johnny loves the yowl when Goofy falls down, something like, "YAAAAH-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOOEY!
." I enjoy when the narrator tells Goofy, who has made it high up the mountain, "
Incidentally, if you happen to smell something out of the ordinary, don't be alarmed. It's only fresh air." Hahaha!
Hockey with Donald and the boys. 'Nuff said.
"Happy Birthday!" Frosty the Snowman! I love it! Main reason: Jimmy Durante. I also like when the magician drops eggs on the floor and then says, "Messy messy messy." I don't know why I love that line, but I do. xD
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Necessary! >.> Burl Ives sings some of the best Christmas songs ever (yup, got them on my Itunes) and there is an abominable snowman that they refer to as the Bumble (whose one weakness is that he sinks... lol). The best part for me is when Yukon Cornelius says the fog is thick as peanut butter and Hermey (the dentistry-obsessed elf) corrects him that it's thick as pea soup and Cornelius yells at him, "You eat what you like, and I'll eat what I like!!!"Pluto's Christmas Tree has got to be one of the funniest Christmas shows. I mean, the usually cheerful Mickey Mouse grabs Pluto by the neck, shakes him, and shouts, "You dumb mutt!" xD John and I rewind that part several times. ;) And when Dale is disguised as a Santa Clause candle and sneezes - that sent Brandon and me rolling as kids. We'd laugh and laugh and rewind then laugh and laugh again. Another great moment is at the end, when Chip slaps a Do Not Open Til XMas sticker on Pluto's mouth to stop his "singing." xD
The story of Santa Bear is adorable. It's hard to find - I only have it on VHS - but I loved it as a kid. Gorgeous guitar music and a sweet story about what's important in life. :)
Hilarity! Donald's Snowfight is one of THE best Donald cartoons made. He and Huey, Duey, and Louie have an epic snowball battle after Donald wrecks their snowman. My favorite part is when Donald is being pelted with snowballs and hollers out, "That's unconstitutional!!!" xD
Last but not least, The Snowman. Beautiful art and music telling the story of a snowman that comes to life and takes the little boy that created him to the North Pole for a party with all the snowpeople in the world with Santa. Brandon and I used to keep a close eye on any snowperson we made to make sure we'd know if the same thing happened for us. :3
Well, have a happy time watching Christmas shows and a Merry Christmas!!!

I am watching the Chipmunks Christmas (Alvin version) right now. I thought they stopped showing it. It's fun to be a kid a heart, keeps you young.
Yeah! =) Like that Frank Sinatra song Young At Heart. I try to live that way as much as I can. :)
