So, life keeps happening. :) Let's start at the top: the ceiling. Our landlord came and ripped out the damaged areas of the ceiling and attic and put up a new piece of drywall. He also is pretty sure the swamp cooler is fixed this time, so the leak should be gone. He removed most of the mold and treated the area. He'll be doing another treatment soon. Soon, the kitchen will be back to normal... and all the white dust will be gone. In the meantime, Miles gets a preview of his old age. ;)I went to a sinus specialist on Friday. He wasn't the most talkative and isn't the joking type. "So how do know you have a sinus infection?" ...Um, perhaps the screaming pain in my sinuses. I decided to just tell him my symptoms, though. Awesome thing about the visit: he actually wore one of those metal doctor rings on his head! No idea what it's for, but it made the whole appointment feel very legitimate. We discussed the medications I've tried (most of them) and decided a new one, he let me know I have a deviated septum, and set up an appointment for a CT scan (tomorrow). I'm kinda nervous for the CT scan. I'll be glad to know more about why I'm always sick, though. I'll update about that again. Probably. Or I could just call you, Jiles, since I think you're the only one that reads my blog now... ;) Thanks for commenting and reading, girl!
And: surprisingly, we haven't moved to Salt Lake yet. Last week I wanted to move RIGHT NOW. But, that would be really hard, so we'll have to go more slowly and save up some money and look around for a better job for John and a good apartment for us. But, we do have plans to relocate up there and for me to transfer to U of U, if possible. We'd also be much closer to where John goes for his National Guard stuff. It will be awesome. It will feel like a fresh start. (That's why we don't want to rush things - last time we did that we signed a contract for an expensive, though crappy, apartment for a year.) This way we can enjoy the summer a little more together and have some scary but exciting changes to look forward to.
Lastly, I got my hair cut even shorter! :) I feel cute! Yayz! I just wanted to tell people because I love new haircuts.
So, yep. We'll just take it a day at a time. =)

Well Phhhhhblllltttt! I read your blog too missy! Haircut? Where's the pics? Good luck with finding job and apt!!!
Aw. Sorry Dianna. But, it's totally felt like nobody cares about my blog lately. And I'll try to take some pics of the hair soon. :)
Ditto that Phhhhhhbbbbllllllttttt! I read it too! My biting wit just leaves me sometimes, and I keep my fingers off the keyboard to prevent any stupidity from flowing out. So there. :P
So how did the CT scan go? Find out anything interesting? I hope they can get you on some beefy anti-biotic pills and clear that stupid infection out. Ah, doctors are so fun...
And I want to see the hair too. Did you ever get around to dying it? I just dyed mine today, it's a lovely shade of red. :-)
Dead Poet: Thanks for reading. I've wondered about you. ;) And I've made enough dumb comments on your blog that you don't need to worry about saying anything silly -- it can only help me feel better. :D
Jiles: Since I have to see BYU doctors, I had to go to the hospital to get the CT done and now I'll have to have a follow up appointment. They said he'd call but gave his office number in case I haven't heard from him in a week. I think I'll call tomorrow and say I just "didn't understand." They already put me on a really strong antibiotic and it didn't work, so now I can just take the expensive Allegra-D. :P
And now I'm a little nervous about my hair in case it isn't that different or that cute. And it's still the same blasted color. :S Someday... ;)
